Smooth experience, helpful support

I purchased a Professional License for IronXL for Java last month. The ordering process on their website was clear and I received the license key via email almost immediately. I had a bit of trouble getting it to work with a specific legacy system we have, so I reached out to their 24/7 support. They got back to me within a few hours and provided a solution that resolved my issue. The library itself has been solid since then, handling large Excel files without any performance hit. It's a robust tool and their support team was quite knowledgeable. Would recommend for complex Java projects.

Iron Suite is fantastic!

I got the Iron Suite during their Cyber Monday sale, and I'm so glad I did! I was mainly after IronPDF and IronXL, but having the whole bundle for future projects is just brilliant. The download was instant, and getting started with the license key was straightforward. Support has been really responsive too when I had a quick question about deployment. Definitely going to be a repeat customer!

IronPDF works pretty good

I grabbed a Lite License for IronPDF a couple weeks ago. Needed something to convert HTML to PDF for a small project, and it did the trick. Setup was easy enough, and the code examples on their site helped me get started without much fuss. Pretty happy with it overall.

Hey, anyone know if Iron Software ever does student discounts? Or like, academic pricing for universities?

T Tom 2 months ago
Yeah, I think they do. I remember seeing something about non-profit and academic discounts on their site, might be worth reaching out to their sales team.

R Rosa 2 months ago
Yep, they definitely have non-profit license pricing listed. My uni got a special deal on IronPDF a while back, so I'd say there's a good chance for students/academics too.

How does IronPDF compare to something like Aspose? I've used Aspose in the past but IronPDF looks promising.

S Shane M. 2 months ago
I switched from Aspose to IronPDF for a project and found IronPDF easier to get started with. Performance was pretty good too. Aspose felt a bit more bloated to me.

Both are solid, honestly. IronPDF is often praised for its performance and ease of use in .NET environments. Aspose can be more feature-rich in some areas, but might also be more complex. Depends on your exact needs.

Does Iron Software offer a money-back guarantee? Just in case the library doesn't quite fit my project's needs after I buy it.

A Amber 1 month ago
Pretty sure they do. I think most software companies like this offer some kind of guarantee. Check their return policy on the site, I vaguely recall seeing it.

They mention a 30-day free trial for products like IronPDF and IronDrawing. For actual purchases, I'd double check their terms, but often they have a short window if it's not working out. You could always try the trial first though.

Anyone know how to get a coupon code for IronOCR? I'm just about to buy it.

F Faith 2 months ago
Sometimes they have promos, but mostly the discounts are for bundles like the Iron Suite or specific sales events. You usually just enter it at checkout on the licensing page.

I'd check during big sales like Black Friday or Cyber Monday, those are their seasonal peaks. Otherwise, sometimes they have renewal discounts if you're upgrading.

What's the deal with their licenses? Are they perpetual or do I have to renew every year?

J Jared E. 1 month ago
From what I remember, the licenses themselves are perpetual. You buy it once and it's yours. The support and updates usually have a subscription component though.

A Anna 1 month ago
Yeah, the core license is perpetual. You typically pay for an annual support/update package if you want to keep getting new versions and tech help. You can let that lapse and still use the version you bought.

Thinking of getting IronPDF for my new project, but I also need Excel stuff down the line. Does the Iron Suite actually save money compared to buying individual libraries?

C Carly N. 1 month ago
Oh absolutely. The Iron Suite bundle is where the real savings are. I got it last year and it was way cheaper than if I'd bought IronPDF and IronXL separately.

D Derek Silva 1 month ago
Yeah, they usually give a pretty good discount on the full suite. It's one of their main deal patterns, like 10-25% off the total. Definitely check out the bundle.

Is Iron Software legitimate? I'm always a bit wary of dev tools online, just want to make sure I'm not getting into anything shady.

S Sophie Okafor 2 months ago
Totally legit. Been using IronPDF for ages, never had an issue. Their support is actually decent too.

Yeah, they're a well-known name in the .NET space. Not some fly-by-night operation. They focus on high-performance stuff for developers.

Any chance of a discount around the end of the year? I'm planning a big purchase for IronBarcode and IronXL.

R Rachel 2 months ago
Oh yeah, absolutely. They usually have big sales around Black Friday, Cyber Monday, and definitely towards the end of Q4. That's a good time to buy.
1
M Mark Marsh 2 months ago
For sure. End of Q4 is a major seasonal peak for them. You're likely to see deals then, especially if you're bundling. Keep an eye out starting late November.
